High School Students

Learn and Earn

Insuring MI Future supports high school risk management and insurance programs around the state. Programming offers a unique opportunity for high school students to learn about the industry and earn college credit from a four-year institution. Students also have an opportunity to experience the industry first-hand through attending classes at insurance companies, participating in job shadow days and through industry internships.

Participating Schools

Students take three college courses: Principles of Insurance and Risk Management, Personal Insurance, and Commercial Insurance.
